I am looking to get in touch with my classmates (1984-1989) in the Computer Science Department as well as the Systems Group where I worked as a computer systems manager.

Professional Information

I am the Managing Director of PraDeshta Limited (http://www.pradeshta.net) which is a licensed satellite and terrestrial telecommunications operator in Bangladesh and have worked in several African and Asian countries where I setup VSAT Satellite Earth Stations. I am an entreprenuer, consultant, mentor and have published articles and books on ICTs; and have worked with Gov't administrations in Bangladesh and Ethiopia in planning and executing projects related to Data Communications for ICTs. I am also the principal promoter of the concept called "Broadband Multi-Service Switching, Transmission and Distribution Architecture" (BMSTDA) which encourages use of low-cost, off-the-shelf technology for use as telecommunications service networks for "zero-infrastructure" areas and in particular, rural communication.
