The Department of Computer Science and Engineering held it's eighth biennial Open House on October 14, 2011. This half-day program featured a keynote by Kerrie Holley, IBM Fellow, on Watson commercialization. Industry and research exhibits gave attendees a sneak peek into the latest research and technology. CS&E Faculty, alumni, and members of industry celebrated 40 years of excellence at CS&E’s Technology Forum and Open House on October 5, 2007. Industry and research exhibits were a major highlight of the event, giving attendees a sneak peek into the latest research and technology. In addition, CS&E’s Distinguished Alumni Award winner Jeffrey Dean, a Google Fellow, and Keynote Speaker Stuart Feldman, Vice President of Engineering at Google, gave stimulating talks and the department hosted a compelling panel discussion on ‘The Future Workforce: Supply and Demand.’
