12:45 – 1:30 pm	Orientation with Director of Graduate Studies, Dr. Loren Terveen and review of Handbook with Georganne Tolaas
1:30 – 2:15 pm	“How to be a Graduate Student” Prof. John V. Carlis
2:15 – 2:30 pm	Break
2:30 – 3:15 pm	“Ethics and the Computer Science Graduate Student” Prof. Chuck Swanson
3:15 – 3:30 pm	Gary Fouty, Bibliographer for Computer Science, University Libraries
3:30 – 5:30 pm	Introduction of Computer Science Faculty
5:30 – 7:00 pm	Picnic for new and returning graduate students, faculty and staff in the 2nd Floor commons area of the EE/CS Building. Subs and soda will be provided.
