Riedl, Zhang elevated to IEEE Fellow

Professors John Riedl and Zhi-Li Zhang were elevated to the grade of Fellow by IEEE.

Professor Riedl was recognized for his contributions to collaborative filtering, recommender systems and social computing. Professor Zhang was recognized for his contributions to internet quality-of-service theory and applications.

IEEE Fellow is a distinction reserved for select IEEE members whose extraordinary accomplishments in any of the IEEE fields of interest are deemed fitting of this prestigious grade elevation.
