Two CS&E students awarded EAPSI grants

CS&E graduate students Mary Southern and Fernando Torre have each won National Science Foundation (NSF) East Asia and Pacific Summer Institutes for U.S. Graduate Students (EAPSI) grants. Southern and Torre will spend 8-10 weeks this Summer working on a research project with a host in Asia. Southern will go to Japan to work on robotic search and rescue with Proffessor Takahashi at Meijo University. Fernando will travel to the Dalian Maritime University in China.
