Van Wyk Receives IBM Grant

Professor Eric Van Wyk has received an IBM Eclipse Innovation Grant. Eclipse is an open-soure extensible IDE, allowing programmers to import new tools into their evironment to analyse, debug, test, etc. their Java code. Van Wyk's proposal was to add his extensible language tools to this IDE so programmers can extend their language, not just the set of tools that can work on their program. 285 proposals were submitted, of which 78 were selected for funding.
