CSE professor debuts in University television ads

Professor Papanikolopoulos at the Fair

CSE Professor Nikolaos Papanikolopoulos made a television debut Oct. 2, featured in local television commercials as part of the University of Minnesota’s new promotional campaign, 'Driven to Discover.' The advertisement will appear on Twin Cities’ channels 4, 5 and 11 and will run for the next few weeks.

Papanikolopoulos, shown in the commercial along with his students, is known for his work on developing the Scout robot, used by the United States military as a reconnaissance tool.
