CSE Professor, grad students win best paper award

CSE Professor John Riedl and students Shilad Sen, Shyong K. (Tony) Lam, Al Mamunur Rashid Dan Cosley, Dan Frankowski, Jeremy Osterhouse and F. Maxwell Harper won the Best Paper Award at the 2006 Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW) Conference in Banff, Alberta, Canada on November 4 for their paper entitled, “Tagging, communities, vocabulary, evolution.”
