Pioneer Press and local TV news feature CSE Grad student's Web site that finds letters in rooftops

CSE Graduate student Jesse Vig gained local media attention this week for a unique new Web site he created, www.geogreeting.com. Vig’s site allows users to send messages comprised of letter-shaped buildings from Google Maps. The Pioneer Press and KSTP TV News (Channel 5) both featured Vig’s creation. Since launching the site in November 2006, it has reportedly received nearly 600,000 visits. For more information visit the Pioneer Press article, “Say it – with rooftops.”
