The Minnesota Daily highlights CSE students prepping for world programming contest finals in Tokyo

The Minnesota Daily featured CSE students Alex Dean, Zi Lin, and Erik Shimshock in a front page story about their invitation to compete in the 2007 Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) World Finals in Tokyo, Japan, March 12-16.

The story, entitled ‘U team programs its way to Tokyo,’ highlighted the basics of the programming competition, the prizes at stake, and the expectation and anticipation of the students and coach, Carl Sturtivant, a CSE teaching faculty member.
