In a CSE lab last week, students learned how to program Sony AIBO robot dogs to make them dance as part of a course called, “Structure of Computer Programming I.” The students, mostly freshman, got to choose the music and dance moves to be performed by the robotic dog. The animated class activity provided a hands-on learning experience and reinforced the importance of teamwork. The students plan to post their robot dog dance performances on YouTube later this week.
