EE/CS Plaza gets a makeover

The Electrical Engineering and Computer Science building plaza is in the midst of a makeover. Work on the plaza revamp began in late May when benches and portions of the sidewalk were removed. Currently construction equipment and caution tape occupies the space, often a sanctuary for students, faculty and staff on their lunch breaks. But the minor disruption will be worth the wait. Improvements planned for the plaza include the addition of more lawn space, planting beds, new benches, tables, and planters. A recent update from the college said that the work is scheduled for completion in early summer.
