CSE Professor John Riedl has been selected to serve as the Co-Chair for the 2008 Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) Conference on Electronic Commerce. A date and location for the conference have not yet been determined. This year’s conference took place in San Diego.
In addition, Riedl and other CSE faculty are putting together a new ACM Recommender Systems Conference that will be held October 19-20, 2007 at the University of Minnesota’s Digital Technology Center. CSE Professor Joe Konstan is the conference general chair and CSE Professors Riedl and Loren Terveen are committee co-chairs. Konstan said the event will bring together experts and students in the field from around the world. For more information about the conference, visit RecSys.
