Science and engineering advisory committee releases final report

Science and Engineering research

The University’s Advisory Committee for the Institute for the Advancement of Science and Engineering released its final report for a systemwide research institute. The goal of the institute is to establish the University of Minnesota as a leader in interdisciplinary research intersecting the fields of biological, chemical, physical, engineering, and computational sciences. The idea for the new institute stems from a strategic positioning recommendation made by the Science and Engineering Task Force.
