CSE Faculty in Video Gaming News Story

An innovative new video game, Halo 3, has made gaming a hot news topic recently. The Minnesota Daily featured CSE and Psychology Professor Paul Schrater in a recent story focused on the study of psychological benefits of playing video games.

Schrater said findings have shown that gaming can improve hand-eye coordination and perceptual motor skills, as well as engaging people in learning in a different way. For more information on this story, visit “Study: Gaming improves motor skills.”
