CSE professor Gini appointed to the CRA Committee focused on women in computing

CSE professor Maria Gini has been appointed to the Computer Research Association's Committee on the Status of Women in Computing Research (CRA-W), where she is a co-coordinator of the Distributed Mentor Project (DMP). The project funds women undergraduate students, allowing them to work on a research project in the summer with female faculty. The objective is to increase the number of women entering graduate school in the fields of computer science and engineering.
