IT magazine highlights CSE history in 'Retrospect'

The newest issue of the University of Minnesota's Institute of Technology’s magazine, Inventing Tomorrow, features a two-page spread highlighting CSE's distinguished 40-year history. The story traces CSE history back to the beginnings of computing and a fledgling graduate program started before the department existed. It goes on to discuss the growing importance of computing and the impact of the CSE department on the world.

To celebrate the 40-year milestone, the CSE department also documented its history in a new booklet entitled, “Department of Computer Science and Engineering: 40 Years of Excellence.” To request a hard copy of this booklet, please e-mail Robyn White at rwhite@cs.umn.edu.
