Papanikolopoulos and Masoud Receive Best Paper Award

Professor Nikolaos Papanikolopoulos and co-author, Osama Masoud, have received the IEEE VTS 2001 Best Land Transportation Paper Award for their paper "A Novel Method for Tracking and Counting Pedestrians in Real-Time Using a Single Camera," September, 2001, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology.
