CSE Graduate Student Rohit Gupta Awarded the 2008 ACG/Olympus and the ACG Presidential Award

Rohit Gupta received the 2008 ACG/Olympus and ACG Presidential Award for the paper entitled "Colon Cancer Not Prevented By Colonoscopy" at the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) annual scientific meeting, held in Orlando in October 2008. The ACG/Olympus Award included a plaque and an honorarium of $1000.

Gupta was a Biomedical Informatics and Computational Biology (BICB) suppported graduate trainee. BICB is an University-wide research/graduate program based out of the University of Minnesota Rochester (UMR).
