Here's an update on the TA offer situation:

Almost all the Fall 08 positions have been filled. There are a few open positions that I'm working on; I hope to make a few more offers later this week. I've contacted the applicants in the high priority category (most of these  are continuing students who had a TA appointment last Spring), and will make most, if not all, of the offers to them. Beyond that there are one or  two additional classes that I'm looking for TAs for --- I will contact people in the TA applicant pool as needed about  these classes.
