Summer 08 and Fall 08 TA offers

Summer TA offers are going out today, although one or two will go out next week as well. We only make about a half dozen summer offers, so unfortunately we are not able to make offers to everyone who applies. If you applied for a summer offer but do not receive one, we will consider you if any offers are declined or if any additional offers unexpectedly arise.

Fall 08: the first round of offers will be next week. This will be primarily to continuing students who had a TA offer as part of past year's admissions processes. Other continuing students will be considered in future rounds. There will be 2 or 3 rounds of offers before the semester ends, and then additional offers as needed over the summer and at the start of Fall classes.

Please note that in order to be considered for a Fall offer you need to have applied (even if you currently have a TA position you still need to apply for 08-09 positions) and, if you are a PhD student, have your progress reviewed. If you have not yet applied please do so as soon as possible and you will be considered in a later round. If you have applied but for some reason your evaluation is incomplete, we will wait until it is complete before considering you for an offer.
