TA Update 5/12

There will be one more small round of offers this week. Most offers are still being made to continuing TAs --- between the continuing TAs who reapplied and the new incoming TAs, we have filled almost all positions.

After the next round of offers I'll make offers over the summer and at the start of classes on an as needed basis. Usually these will be for specific classes and will occur as the result of someone with a Fall TA position deciding to resign. We will contact people by email if we are making them an offer.

If you have a position for Fall, but decide to resign, please do so at least one month before the start of classes. This will ensure we will have enough time to find a replacement. 

If you are still looking for an offer, I expect we will probably have a half dozen positions open up over the summer, but this number does vary from year to year. Currently we still have a number of PhD students in the applicant pool, so I am not considering MS students yet.

Class assignments for people with Fall positions will be made in late June or early August.
