American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Fellows

The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) was founded in 1848. The stated mission of the society is to “advance science and innovation throughout the world for the benefit of all people.” AAAS publishes a number of online and printed materials, including the peer-reviewed general science journal Science.

Election as a Fellow of AAAS is an honor bestowed upon members by their peers. Fellows are recognized for meritorious efforts to advance science or its applications.
