Assistant Professor Barry teaches and handles administrative work (class scheduling, TA supervision, etc...) within the CS&E department.

Research

My research interests are in computer aided geometric design, computer graphics, scientific visualization, and computer science education.

I received my B.S. and M.S. in mathematics from Idaho State University, and my Ph.D. in mathematics in 1987 from the University of Utah. I did postdoctoral work in the Computer Graphics Laboratory at the University of Waterloo until joining the University of Minnesota in 1989.
