Computational Behavioral Modeling, Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining, Video Game Artificial Intelligence.
M.S., 2010, Computer Science (Minor: Psychology), University of Minnesota
B.B.A., 1993, Management Information Systems, University of Texas
I work at the intersection of psychology and computer science. I study how humans learn and make decisions and use that data to build computer simulations of this behavior and improve existing artificial intelligence techniques. I also do research in non-psychological aspects of video game artificial intelligence. In addition to teaching artificial intelligence, I am the department's writing consultant. As the writing consultant, I work with the writing intensive classes, currently 3081W Program Design and Development, 3921W Computer Ethics and 4511W Artificial Intelligence.
