Abstract
The prevalence of Internet use in modern life has led to growing opportunities for corporate and government entities to observe and intervene in the personal and commercial business of others. This intrusion into private affairs can range from targeted advertising to politically-motivated blocking of websites. This talk will analyze the security and efficiency of several protocols, designed by researchers at Minnesota and elsewhere, that are intended to circumvent these measures.
