5.1. CLA Students

All CLA students must complete 12 semester credits of 4xxx or 5xxx elective courses, (i.e. other than the required courses) in the Computer Science and Engineering Department. (The quarter class CSci 5113 and semester class CSci 4921 cannot be used. Moreover, no more than 3 credits from CSCI 4970 or 59xx courses can be used as part of the 12 credits.)
