Academic Honors
I received an undergraduate research grant from Intel for a project dealing with communication between mobile robots in simulation and real life. The Department of Computer Science awarded me with their Lando Scholarship my senior year. I also received a merit based Iron Range Scholarship from the University of Minnesota my freshman and sophomore years. I was selected to be on a Diversity Work Team. This was a program where teams worked on creating a mock product designed to fit an overall scenario. It included training in teamwork, problem solving, time management and diversity.
