In Memoriam: Donald Sudor
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering mourns the loss of alumnus Donald “Don” Sudor, who passed away June, 27.
Don was a long-time University of Minnesota supporter and avid fan of the Minnesota Gophers. After graduating from the U with a degree in computer science, he moved to Rochester with his wife, Nina, where they raised four children. He worked at IBM for 34 years and served as the IBM representative to the Department’s Industry Advisory Board throughout the 1980s.
A member of many professional organizations, he stayed connected with the U through the Rochester Alumni and Friends of the University of Minnesota (RAFFUM).
A memorial service was held in his honor on July 6. His obituary can be read here.
