Special interests: atmospheric and space physics, computer electronics and the history of science. He also advises the physics student organizations.

Special interests: space physics, cosmic ray physics and high-energy physics.

Dr. Jeffrey E. Johnson,
Assistant Professor

Special interests: plasma theory, elementary particle theory, theoretical cosmology, space physics and the solar wind. He is also the departmental advisor for Cooperative Education.

Special interests: applications of artificial intelligence to environmental problems, physical meteorology, small-scale wind variability, and statistical methods applied to experimental data.
