CS&E Administrative and Finance Director Faith Goenner presented at the Sponsored Project Administration’s (SPA) Symposium XII, which is a professional development event offered by the Office of the Vice President of Research that brings together professionals from across the University community to share insight into research proposals and awards from external sources.

Goenner’s session titled, “Building One Robot at a Time: Fabricating & Capital Assets in Computer Science,” built off CS&E's capital assets session from the year before and showed expanded on how to coordinate from the first fabrication purchase to working on inventory and audit inquiries.  She also opened up discussion into recent NSF OIG Audit inquiries around capital equipment.

The presentation was the work of fellow CS&E accounting experts Samiksha Jain, Hlitawci Xiong, Thet Letyar, Sue Gustafson, and Leanne Siercks and Accounting Services. They joined Goenner during the presentation to offer their insight.

Please join CS&E in congratulating Faith Goenner for going above and beyond to help educate our university community.
